CED 520 Professionalism in Healthcare (1)
Professionalism is a foundational competency for clinical practice in speech-language pathology and audiology. This course prepares MSLP graduate students to demonstrate the professional and interpersonal behaviors required for success in clinical externship placements and in the healthcare workplace. Students will develop skills in receiving and integrating clinical feedback, respecting supervisory relationships, cultivating self-awareness, maintaining focus and engagement during clinical activities, and demonstrating appropriate workplace conduct.
CED 596 Graduate Cooperative Education (1-3)
For students working in part- or full-time work assignments through the Cooperative Education program. Credit is awarded upon successful completion of the work experience, validation of a learning agreement and evaluation of work performance. Evaluation of work performed is on a pass/fail basis. A total of nine credits cumulative may be earned through graduate co-op work experience. Students may choose 1-3 credits per semester with advisor?s approval.
