CED 520 Professionalism in Healthcare (1)
This course prepares students to demonstrate the professional behaviors, interpersonal skills, and workplace expectations essential for success in clinical, community, and healthcare environments. Students will develop skills in receiving and integrating feedback, navigating supervisory and interdisciplinary relationships, cultivating self-awareness and professional judgment, maintaining engagement and accountability in patient-centered settings, and demonstrating ethical, respectful, and appropriate workplace conduct. Through reflection, discussion, and applied learning, students will strengthen the professional competencies necessary to contribute effectively to healthcare teams and deliver high-quality care.
CED 596 Graduate Cooperative Education (1-3)
For students working in part- or full-time work assignments through the Cooperative Education program. Credit is awarded upon successful completion of the work experience, validation of a learning agreement and evaluation of work performance. Evaluation of work performed is on a pass/fail basis. A total of nine credits cumulative may be earned through graduate co-op work experience. Students may choose 1-3 credits per semester with advisor?s approval.
